Choose a spread

Every reading is drawn on the server with a cryptographic random source over all 78 cards, with a genuine coin flip for each reversal. Nothing is weighted toward pleasant cards. No account needed.

Not sure which to use? Match the spread to the question . Most disappointing readings are a good spread answering the wrong kind of question.

Single Card

One card, one question. The fastest reading in tarot and the one most experienced readers use most often.

3 cardsbeginner

Past, Present, Future

The classic three-card line. Where this came from, where it is now, and where it is heading if nothing changes.

10 cardsadvanced

Celtic Cross

The definitive ten-card spread. A complete picture of a situation: its heart, its cross, its roots, its trajectory and its outcome.

7 cardsintermediate

The Horseshoe

Seven cards in an arc. The classic middle-sized spread: more than three cards of context, without the ten-card commitment of a Celtic Cross.

Yes or No

One card, one answer. The reading tarot is worst suited to and most often asked for, done honestly rather than flattered.

3 cardsbeginner

Situation, Action, Outcome

A three-card spread built for deciding rather than describing. What is happening, what to do, what follows.

3 cardsintermediate

Timing

Three cards on when: what has to happen first, what is holding the pace, and the timing the cards actually point at.

Two options laid side by side, with what each costs and what each opens, plus the thing neither path resolves.

Twelve months in a wheel with a thirteenth card at the centre for the year's overarching theme.

A five-card spread for the dark of the moon: what is beginning, what to plant, and what has to be put down first.

5 cardsbeginner

Full Moon

A five-card check-in at the peak of the cycle: what has come to light, what is ripe, and what is ready to be let go.

7 cardsbeginner

Week Ahead

One card for each day of the coming week. A short, checkable spread that teaches the deck faster than almost anything else.

Every spread has a guide

Each spread page explains what it is for, how to read the positions in relation to each other, and, more usefully, when not to use it. Those pages are free and do not require a reading.

About readings

Straight answers, without the mystique.

  • Fewer than you want to. One card answers a specific question better than ten, and a ten-card spread on a small question produces seven cards of noise you will then find meaning in. Start with one or three.

  • One that starts with "what" or "how", and is about you. "What am I not seeing about this offer?" works. "Will he call?" does not. It is predictive and about someone else's behaviour.

  • You can turn them off before any draw. If you are new, we suggest starting upright-only and adding reversals once the upright meanings feel automatic. Plenty of professional readers never use them at all.

  • It is stored with the cards, their positions, the interpretation and your notes, and it counts toward your reading streak. You can add notes to it later, link a journal entry to it, or share it by link if you choose to.
