Love & Connection

Five cards on a relationship: yours, theirs, the bond between you, the obstacle, and where it is going.

Draw the Love & Connection spread

Optional, and worth doing. Questions starting with what or how, about you, get far more out of a reading than yes/no or predictive ones.

Changes which part of each card's meaning is surfaced.

How to read the Love & Connection

Works for an existing relationship, a possible one, or one that has ended and will not stop occupying you.

Read positions 1 and 2 with care. The second card is their side as the reading sees it. It is not a window into another person's private mind, and treating it as one leads readers into some genuinely unhealthy territory. Read it as: what is this person bringing into the dynamic, from where you sit.

The obstacle card is the useful one. Most relationship questions are actually questions about a single obstacle that neither person has named.
