Four of Swords and Five of Swords

Rest broken by a fight. The Five is a figure gathering swords with two others walking away, the sky ragged. The tradition reads this run as a recovery interrupted, and as the recovering person being drawn into a conflict they were not ready for.

Associated with an argument during a period somebody needed left alone. Read as badly timed rather than as unprovoked.

Returning from a break straight into a dispute. Frequently read where somebody wins something they did not want to fight for.

The Five of Swords costs the winner as much as anyone. Coming out of the Four, the tradition reads it as a fight worth declining.
