The Tower and Judgement

Two cards of figures leaving a structure, one thrown out and one called out. The tradition sets them side by side deliberately: the same departure, arrived at by catastrophe or by summons. Drawn together they describe an upheaval that turns out to have been necessary.

Associated with a break that forced an honest accounting nothing else was going to produce.

Read for a collapse that made a reckoning unavoidable. The pair does not call the collapse good and does note what it did.

It took the fall to get here. That is worth acknowledging without concluding that the fall was for the best.
