The Star and Ace of Cups

Both cards pour. The Star empties two vessels into water and land after The Tower has done its work; the Ace of Cups overflows before anything has been asked of it. Together the tradition reads feeling returning after a period without it, which is a specific and recognisable thing rather than general good news.

Associated with being able to feel something again, and with the first genuine openness after a closed period. The pair is read as tentative and real.

Renewed interest in work that had gone flat. Read for the return of the reason somebody started.

Neither card asks for anything to be built yet. The tradition reads them as permission to feel the thing before deciding what to do about it.
