The Moon and The High Priestess

The deck's two cards of things not yet known, and they are not the same kind of unknown. The High Priestess is what is deliberately withheld, and she knows it. The Moon is what nobody has articulated. Together the tradition reads them as a situation with genuine information missing.

Associated with a relationship where something is being withheld, without the pair saying by whom or in bad faith.

A decision being asked for before the facts exist. Commonly read as a signal to wait rather than to guess.

Both cards counsel against filling a gap with a story. The honest position is that you do not know yet.
