The two priestly trumps, and the tradition sets them deliberately against each other. The Hierophant teaches publicly, in a building, from an agreed text; The High Priestess sits between two pillars with a scroll half hidden. The pair asks whether the knowledge in question is meant to be transmitted or kept.

Associated with a relationship where one partner wants things spoken and formalised and the other holds them privately. Neither is read as dishonest.
