Strength and Eight of Wands

Patience and everything arriving at once. Strength is the figure closing the lion jaws with her hands and no violence in it; the Eight of Wands is eight staves in flight about to land. The tradition reads the pair as composure held through a rush, and it is one of the more encouraging combinations here.

Associated with staying steady while a situation moves very fast. Read as capability rather than as passivity.

A surge handled calmly. Frequently read where the calm is the reason it went well.

The staves cannot be recalled and Strength does not try. The pair reads the response rather than the event as the thing under your control.
