Three of Cups and Four of Wands

The deck's two celebrations, and they are not the same one. The Three of Cups is three friends with their cups raised, immediate and informal. The Four of Wands is a threshold marked publicly, a garland and a home behind it. Together the tradition reads an occasion, and specifically one with both the party and the meaning intact.

Long associated with weddings, and with the smaller version: the announcement, the dinner, the friends told first.
