Wheel of Fortune and Justice

The deck arguing with itself, and the tradition preserves the argument rather than settling it. The Wheel says outcomes turn without reference to what anybody deserved. Justice says causes have proportionate effects. Drawn together they are read as a situation containing both, which describes most situations.

Chance and consequence in the same story: how you met, against what each of you has done since. The pair is unusually even-handed and blames nobody.

Timing meeting merit. Frequently read for the promotion that was both earned and lucky, and for the redundancy that was neither personal nor fair.

Sort the two before you decide what it means. Treating luck as desert produces arrogance; treating desert as luck produces passivity.
