Two of Wands and Two of Pentacles

Planning a future while juggling the present. The Two of Wands looks out at what could be; the Two of Pentacles keeps two things in the air with a good deal of skill and no slack. The tradition reads the pair as ambition running alongside a full load, which is the ordinary condition of most people making plans.

Read for relationships being fitted around everything else. The pair does not judge that, but it notices that the planning and the juggling are competing for the same hours.

Frequently read for somebody plotting a move while still fully committed to the current thing. The juggling is going well, which is precisely why it is hard to stop.

The Two of Pentacles is sustainable and the Two of Wands is not indefinitely. A plan that only exists while everything else is balanced perfectly tends to stay a plan.
