The World and The Tower

Completion and demolition. The World is the deck's final card, a cycle finished properly; The Tower is a structure ending before it was finished. The tradition reads the pair as the difference between the two, and it is usually a question about which one is actually happening.

Something that ran its course, against something that was broken off. The pair asks which of those you are in, and people are frequently wrong about it.

A completion mistaken for a collapse, or a collapse being narrated as a completion. Associated with endings that need to be described accurately before they can be moved on from.

The distinction is not academic. A finished thing and a broken thing need different responses, and this pairing exists to make you name which one it is.
