Virtue taught against virtue held, and the tradition treats this as a real question. The Hierophant transmits a standard from outside; Strength has something that cannot be transmitted at all. The pair asks which of the two is actually operating.

Associated with behaving well because it is expected and behaving well because it is who you are, and with how similar those look until pressure arrives.
