The Fool and The Tower

A leap and a collapse, and the reading turns entirely on which came first. The tradition treats this pair as the deck asking whether you jumped or whether the ground went. Both are real readings and they call for opposite responses.

Read as an unguarded entry into something that then came apart, or as a structure collapsing and leaving somebody unexpectedly free. The pair says nothing about fault.

The unproven venture that failed, or the failure that made the venture possible. Associated with people who found out which one it was considerably later.

Work out the order before you read anything else into it. A leap followed by a collapse is a lesson; a collapse followed by a leap is a response, and only one of them is a mistake.
