The Empress and The Moon

One of the older pregnancy readings in the tradition, and one worth handling carefully. The Empress is fertility, growth and the body; The Moon governs cycles and what is not yet visible. Historically the pair was read as something growing that has not been confirmed, which covers a great deal more than pregnancy and was never a diagnosis.

Something developing that neither person has named. The tradition reads the pair as early rather than hidden, which are different things.

Work in gestation. Associated with creative projects that are further along than they look and not ready to be shown.
