The Chariot and Two of Cups

The ruler of Cancer with its first decan. The Chariot is control, protection and forward motion inside armour; the Two of Cups is an equal exchange between two people. The tradition reads the pair as somebody guarded meeting something genuinely mutual, and treats the meeting as the event.

Associated with a defended person forming a real bond. Read as significant precisely because of the armour.

A partnership formed by somebody who normally operates alone. Frequently read for reluctant collaborations that work.

The Chariot is drawn by two forces pulling opposite ways and held together by will. The Two of Cups suggests this one might not need holding.
