The Chariot and The Hermit

Two cards of travel that travel differently. The Chariot moves fast, armoured, toward something; The Hermit moves slowly, alone, with a lamp and no stated destination. The tradition reads the pair as a question about pace rather than about direction.

Associated with one person driving a relationship forward while the other needs it to slow down. The pair does not take a side.

Read for momentum against deliberation. The pair notes that both get somewhere and only one of them can be corrected mid-route.

Slow down enough to check the direction. The Chariot cannot be steered at full speed and that is the whole difficulty.
