Ace of Wands and Ace of Pentacles

The spark and the means. Fire wants and earth can actually pay for it, which is the pairing that separates an intention from a plan. The tradition reads this as the most practically loaded pair of Aces: everything needed to start is present, and neither card has started.

Less about feeling than the other Ace pairs, and more about somebody being both wanted and available in a real, arranged, day-to-day sense.

Frequently read for the point at which an idea acquires a budget, a client, or a first order. The pair is unusually concrete for two cards that are both still potential.

Earth is the slower of the two and the one that decides. Fire will supply another idea next month; a genuine material opening is scarcer than the enthusiasm to use it.
