Suit dominance
Before you read any individual card, count the suits. Four Cups in a five-card spread means the question is emotional regardless of what you asked about. No Pentacles at all in a question about money means the reading is telling you the problem is not financial.
Missing suits matter
The absent suit is often the answer. A relationship reading with no Cups is describing a relationship being managed rather than felt. A career reading with no Wands is describing work you have no desire for.
