The Tower and The Star in the same spread, three positions apart

Priya Raghunathan ·

Drew a Celtic Cross on Sunday. The Tower in the crossing position and The Star in the outcome. My instinct is that this is the kindest reading I have ever pulled and I am worried that is just me wanting it to be. Does anybody read that pairing differently?

It is the order they come in as trumps, XVI then XVII, so the deck itself is telling you which way round it goes. I would not talk yourself out of it.

Depends what The Tower is crossing. If it is crossing something you have been holding together with both hands then yes, this is the good version. If it is crossing a person, be gentler with the delivery.

Also worth asking what the outcome position means in the spread you were using. In a Celtic Cross it is where things are heading if nothing changes, which is not the same as a promise.

It was crossing a job, not a person. That settles it, thank you both.
