Where do you stop when it is family asking?
My sister asks me to read for her about once a month and I have started to dread it, because the questions have moved from "how is this job going" to things about her health and her marriage. I do not want to say no to her. I also do not think I should be answering any of it. How do you draw that line without it becoming a whole conversation about whether you believe in it?

You do not have to justify the line by arguing about the cards. "I will not read on health" is a house rule, not a metaphysical claim, and people accept house rules from professionals all the time.
I keep three off the table permanently: health, other people's intentions, and anything with a date in it. Saying them out loud before the first card goes down has saved me every difficult conversation I used to have afterwards.
The dread is the useful signal here. You already know the answer, you are just looking for a way to say it that costs you nothing, and there is not one.
