How literally does anybody take timing in a spread?
Used the timing spread twice and both times the answer was, roughly, soon. Which is either a fair reflection of what the deck can do or a sign that I am asking it something it was never for. Interested in whether anybody reads timing seriously and how.

I read timing as sequence rather than dates. What has to happen before the thing can happen. That the deck is good at. Calendars it is not.
Every timing system I have read about is a different arbitrary mapping of suits onto seasons, and no two of them agree. That should tell you what it is worth.
