The Devil and The Lovers keep arriving together
Four readings in a row now, different spreads, different questions, and both cards are in all four. They share an awful lot of imagery so I assume that is not an accident, but I cannot make the pairing say anything I did not already think before I shuffled.

The two figures in The Devil are the two figures in The Lovers, chained and smaller. Same couple, later. Read it as a question about which version of the arrangement you are currently in.
If it says nothing new, that is information. Sometimes the deck is confirming rather than revealing and the useful move is to stop asking and go and do something about it.
Check whether either was reversed in any of the four. If the Devil was upright every time and the Lovers were not, that is the whole reading and it is not subtle.
